Customer Rating: Summary: Joke of a Book Comment: This is a joke of a book. If I had known what type of a "comic" book this was I would NEVER have purchased it! This book should be labled and put into the comic section. I buy books to READ and not to look at the pictures!
Customer Rating: Summary: Graphic Novel? Comment: I wish that the words "graphic novel" had been more prominent in the info. It would have saved me this purchase.
Customer Rating: Summary: More Harry Dresden Comment: All of the Harry Dresden books have been great reads. Hope there will be many more in the offing.
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't let the bad reviews fool you! Comment: Don't let the negative reviews fool you, Welcome to the Jungle is a great graphic novel. It was kind of short but the story was interesting and the artwork was very nice. In my opinion this is a must have for fans of the Dresden series. I don't normally leave reviews but this was a nice book. It pisses me off that it's rated so low because a bunch of morons gave it one star because they ordered it without reading the information page and were upset when it turned out to be a graphic novel.
Customer Rating: Summary: Short but Sweet Comment: When I first opened this tiny book I was amazed, the illustrations in this full color book are shockingly beautiful. As much as I love Jim Butcher as an author, he does need to work on his writing in a graphic novel scenario. Anyone who has read the Dresden Files or the Codex Alera knows that Butcher is very detailed about everything, but in a fun and exciting way. He needs to, for the graphic novel series, work on using the illustrations to convey some of that detail instead of narrating the entire book. Overall, AMAZING, just like everything Butcher writes.
