These drum pads are just like the one's that come with the complete sets (except for the rocker kit). They came with the mounts,and needed cables. I love these drums! You can't have more fun for $200.! Adding these two extra pads rounded the set out and gave me a low tom and ride cymbal. While not of professional caliber,a closet drummer like myself can have a lot of fun! The "brain" is made by Alesis and is very similar to their best selling SR-16.
