Comment: The wife boat one for our boat. Worked so well on flies I bought 3 more for the house, RV and kids.

Summary: An Excellent Product Gone Bad
Comment: I have owned a Bug Catcher for many years until we recently mysteriously lost it. The Concept and function is excellent in every way. The original (at $9.,95 )had a tube twice the length of the tube supplied with this one and all other mechanisms are identical--no improvements--just a change to yellow from cream. If I could find it locally I wouldn't have ordered it from this company. They first sent the wrong product--courteously told me to keep the error and they would send the BugBuster. They did but the power supply wire from battery to motor is broken in two places sufficiently to break the contact if the wire is bent. It will be simpler for me to repair it than to spend the money to return it. However, this company is making an outrageous profit and is not reliable in my view. Amazon should not be endorsing them. Summary: spider sucker, sucks good
Comment: It is not the same as the last one I had, but works just as good if not better. They are a good omen, I don't want to kill them. Unless they scare the ____ out of me, then I might hurt them by de fault. Would buy another one here if I need one.

Summary: It swallowed a spider and caught a fly
Comment: The Bug Buster works quite well with most bugs, and very well for the types of bugs I want it to work with, namely, spiders, bees, and wasps. I like this Bug Buster because it doesn't kill the bugs. I can let the spiders go outside to catch harmful insects and the Bees to make my neighbors honey, and the wasps to catch caterpillars to feed their young, yuck. I sometimes have to give the bug a nudge with the end of the wand but I inevitably catch them. It works great with coddling moths too--yeah I let them go as well. All in all it works quite well, I might want to see a more powerful motor, but then I caught a lacewing with it and I think if it was more powerful the lacewing would have been injured, they are after all a human friendly insect.

Summary: Can't live without it!
Comment: Living in the woods, we gets lots of insects in our house. We bought this vacuum for ourselves years ago, and wouldn't be without one ever again. We gave them to our family members as gifts, and they too, are grateful for the ability to rescue and eliminate without harming. My father and I are very allergic to insect bites, so this is a welcome addition just for that reason alone!
Another reviewer gave low ratings due to lack of suction, I'd suggest a fresh battery. After a winter's hiatus, ours is always low on suction. A new battery always brings it back to life!
