Comment: THIS WEEK IS MY 51ST BIRTHDAY.MY BROTHER IN LAW ASKED ME WHAT I WANTED FOR MY B'DAY PRESENT. IVE TOLD HIM FOR MONTHS THAT IVE WANTED A SUBSCIPTION TO MY FAVORITE MAGAZINE, CLASSIC ROCK!!!WELL, HE IS GETTING IT FOR ME.HOW GREAT A GIFT IS THAT!!I GOT MY FIRST COPY SEVERAL YEARS AGO AT A LOCAL BOOKS A MILLION STORE.LOVED IT RIGHT FROM THE START.WENT BACK THE NEXT TWO MONTHS AND GOT THOSE ISSUES. THEN..THEY NEVER GOT THEM AGAIN.FOR THE NEXT 6 MONTHS,I MADE PHONE CALLS TO DISTRIBUTERS FOR B.A.M. AND BARNES AND NOBLES.I GOT TO KNOW THE GUY WHO PUT THE MAGAZINES ON THE RACKS AT MY LOCAL BARNES AND NOBLES IN MOBILE,AL. AND,WITH HIS HELP THEY STARTED COMING IN.THREE YEARS HAS GONE BY NOW, AND IVE NOT MISSED AN ISSUE. CLASSIC ROCK IS NOW A TOP, FRONT OF THE SHELF MAGAZINE IN THIS STORE.I DONT KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE WAS DOING WHAT I WAS DOING TO GET THIS GREAT MAGAZINE IN THE STORE, BUT I FEEL I HELPED.AND IM GLAD I DID. THIS IS THE BEST ROCK MUSIC MAGAZINE AROUND, AND IM GREATFULL TO MY BROTHER IN LAW THAT I CAN NOW GET IT DELIVERED TO MY HOME,WITH HELP FROM AMAZON.COM,ALOT CHEAPER THAN WHAT IVE BEEN PAYING FOR IT OFF THE RACK. KEEP THE ROCK ALIVE CLASSIC ROCK!!!

Summary: A magazine with promise
Comment: I usually enjoy reading CLASSIC ROCK every month at my local Borders magazine rack, but it's obvious there's favoritism towards certain groups and artists. For example, there's WAY TOO MUCH emphasise on Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, but hardly anything on Deep Purple. Aren't Purple considered one of the (un)holy trinity of british hard rock? It's really messed up that Zeppelin, as well as Plant and Page have made the cover numerous times but Deep Purple zero. Even Phil Lynott a.k.a. Mr. Thin Lizzy has made the cover a few times and still no Purple. Actually, Blackmore once made their cover but it was a special issue about rock's lost hereos. Hey, Classic Rock! Blackmore is doing quite well carving out yet another successful music career, which is something Jimmy Page can't seem to do. Are you getting my drift, this magazine is biased towards certain rock royalty. So be careful when subscribing, you may not like what you read.

Summary: The Best Rock Mag ever!
Comment: This really blows them all away, Blender, Rolling Stone, the old Circus and Creem magazines, the closest to it was Kerrang. They have the best articles and pictures, a great reviews section!. I'm glad Amazon offers a Subscription to it!. Try it, I'll bet you can't put it down!.

Comment: Finally a mag that deals with Classic Rock only.
Very informative, great interviews and reviews.
Love the free CDs or DVD, always some good stuff on there.
Us old Classic Rockers needed a mag like this!!!!!
I used to buy this at a newsstand and always anxiously wiat for the new issue. Thanks for offering this fantastic mag to your customers.

Comment: best magazine covering old and new rock music i have ever read...emphasis on classic rock of 60s,70s and 80s...great articles and interviews..keeps me up to date with all the news about the bands i grew up with and still love today
