Comment: This is a great fireplace DVD. It has pleasant music selections or you can just listen to the fireplace sounds or both. It is shot in HD which is another bonus. We loved it so much we gave it as a gift to our friends who also don't have a fireplace!

Summary: Great Cozy Fires
Comment: This DVD has a selection of great fireplaces and music/sound options. It was purchased for an office holiday party, but was a welcome addition to my family's Christmas morning celebrations. My husband and I put it on during dinner to create a great atmosphere. I probably won't use it anymore once we get a house with a real fireplace, but in the meantime it's a great substitute. The menu gets a bit glitchy sometimes and bumps me back to the FBI warning, but it's a small annoyance and my just be a slight defect on my disc. Overall, a great, kitchy DVD.

Comment: I am very pleased with this DVD. I like the variety of fireplaces to choose from and how they will loop endlessly. I use this DVD to unwind before bed time, or whenever I would like to relax. It is great to have on while reading a book or on a cold winter's night. The sounds are very nice as well. I usually select just the fire sounds, but the classical is nice as well. I was surprisingly pleased with the picture quality. The picture is very clear and realistic. I am very pleased!

Summary: Did not work for me
Comment: I had difficulty getting this DVD to work for me. After selecting video scene and audio it would cycle back to the beginning menu almost all the time. It did work about 5% of the time. My DVD player is less than 3 years old so I don't think that was the problem. I ordered a new fireplace video from a different maker and it works flawlessly. I played around with this flawed DVD for about two hours until I realized it was not going to work for me. I was frustrated and disappointed with this purchase.
