Customer Rating: Summary: Best little bluetooth on the market Comment: This superlight, unobtrusive headset, works more reliably than the new noise cancelling sets, etc.... no comparison. And the listener on the other head, often thinks I'm on a land line.
I have sent two of the new Jawbones back. They just don't have the technology down to work properly.
The only bad part of the X-10, is the ear hook, whose tabs that hold it on the earpiece, break off very easily. This headset need tender loving care.
The charger though, is great, and simple to hook up. Much better than all the other chargers. AND they provide a USB connection charger.
Customer Rating: Summary: The best one I've had so far... Comment: I've had a few bluetooth headsets over the past few years, and this is easily the best one I've used so far.
The main talking points have already been covered to death, so I'm just going to give you a couple of reasons why I love it.
First and foremost, it pairs to two devices. Most headsets will only pair to one device, so if you want to switch between devices, you have to re-pair it every time. In my case, I have the headset paired to both my Motorola Q and my Playstation 3. Whichever device I am using at the time, the headset will automatically connect to that device.
The sound quality is excellent, and the range is far greater than any other headset I've used.
So there it is. It may not be a ten page review with all the Jabra specs pasted in, but that's how I feel about the thing. :-)
In the oft-repeated words of mothers everywhere, "Try it. You'll like it."
Customer Rating: Summary: Great headset for the iPhone Comment: I've owned the JX-10 for over a year now, and am very pleased with it. The size, comfort, and quality of sound is great.
I've tried multiple bluetooth headsets with the iPhone, and this is the only one that I have had that is static free on my end.
Customer Rating: Summary: unhappy cusomer Comment: The first Jabra JX10 came defective and I had to pay over 12.00 to send it back to the Ace Photo. they would not send me a replacement until they received the defective one. Finally after nearly two weeks, a second Jabra JX10 arrived, also defective. Ace Photo refused to send a mailing label and said that I should contact Jabra. I then called Jabra and they said that they would send out another one immediately with my credit card on file along with a mailing label to return the defective one. It has been 4 days and I have not received the replacement. Jabra also informed me that the warranty started when the initial Jabra was sent out, which I think is unfair. It should begin when I receive a product that works. As you can see, I'm rather upset about this whole transaction. It makes me think it would have been better to purchase it at a local electronics store. This is the first time that this has happened, I have been satisfied in the past with other orders through Amazon.
Customer Rating: Summary: painful Comment: Sharp corners on the back dig into my ear. Extremely painful. Ear hook breaks easily, both inside and at the tip. Wind noise is not controlled very well and the volume must always be adjusted. I suggest a Motorola product instead. They must have actually had someone try their units out before putting them on the market. Jabra was obviously more interested in how the unit looked and not how it performed.
