We thought at first that it might tear or rip because of the way it was made. That has not happened. It looks great and prevents scratches and other damage that would have occurred otherwise. I didn't have any problems with it breaking or scratching the phone. If you want a little more protection or a different look for your phone this is an excellent buy. Customer Rating: Summary: Pretty good, but not perfect. Comment: I really like the look of it and it was fairly easy to get onto the phone following the instructions. There are a couple of minor annoyances. The external buttons are covered. You can still press them as long as you remember where they're at so I've gotten used to it. Also, a strip of screen is covered by the skin. Again, since I remember what it's covering up it hasn't hurt so far but still annoying. It gives you a much better grip on your phone so you don't drop it.
