Summary: Good bag, served us well
Comment: Purchased for a recent ski trip, the bag worked as advertised. There is some padding, but only the bottom and the middle divider. We wrapped the bindings with extra towels and all was well. The top of the bag can be folded down (attached via velcro) to adjust for ski size, which is nice. Nothing amazing here, but very functional -- our skis survived two air trips undamaged :)

Summary: Yes, It Fits On A Plane
Comment: I have new Nordica skis and poles and Marker Twincam bindings, so when I saw this bag on sale, I grabbed it. My skis are 72" long and fit perfectly. The padding is great, as I am concerned about how rough baggage handlers are on equipment, especially skis. My bindings are also sure to be protected from the padding. It is very heavily padded. I also like the straps on both ends for a snug fit, plus the handle can be used with one hand or over the shoulder. The material is tough and cleans very easily, so I don't have to worry about stains. Great bag!
