Customer Rating: Summary: Mobile Laptop Desk Comment: The item was selected from a list of 3 Laptop Desk because of the visual structure in the picture and what appeared to be a useful design. Also, it was more expensive, but, looked nicer.
When opened and assembled, it was not good quality material for the $70. price. If used very carefully, the metal parts may hold together six months. The metal is very soft and the screws will wear and enlarge the holes, making the desk less sturdy, as the desk is moved about. The mobility is what makes a Laptop Desk desireable.
In my opinion, a more descriptive sentence should inform the customer of the materials used in the construction of the desk.
I would not recommend this desk to anyone, even at a lower price.
What I would have wanted was more information on the product and the assurance of refund of price and shipping of product if not satisfied.
Customer Rating: Summary: So So Comment: For a relatively cheap price I got a relatively cheap laptop desk. Construction required but came with all parts including some spare screws which I appreciated but did not need. One of the plastic guard rails was cracked - I just glued it back together rather than mess with an exchange. I am using it and while it does rock some side to side it seems otherwise fairly sturdy. This desk's minimum height is rather high so be sure to check the specs before ordering.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good value but not perfect Comment: This table is a definite improvement over the free-standing TV-tray (combined with a lap desk) I was previously using. The ability to tilt is very helpful. The biggest problems I have with it are that the arm isn't quite as long as I would like and the desk doesn't go as low as some might want.
I found that I actually prefer having the telescoping support fully collapsed, which is below the lowest lock-point. In this "unofficial" position, the support arm is free to rotate. While this can be inconvenient (it may rotate away if too much pressure is applied while using the laptop), I find it very handy to be able to rotate the table surface out of the way rather than having to roll the entire table away from my chair.

Customer Rating: Summary: Convenient product to have Comment: This is a great little mini-desk to have in the living room. My husband and I have it neatly sitting next to the couch and we use it every day with our laptops.
Customer Rating: Summary: Price vs Features...hm...price won Comment: I purchased this table because I was having a hysterectomy and needed something I could use for both my laptop and reading books. I had to have something I could use in a chair, in bed, or on the couch. It had to tilt. It also had to raise and lower as needed. I liked this immediately because of the ribs that hold the items in place when the tray is in a tilted position. Overall this item was well worth the money I paid for it and the use I got out of it. I still use it and I really don't need it at this point. It is nice to have something I can just pull over the bed and not have to lift. I loved the double table top, so I could work on my laptop and have my cup of coffee or reference materials right next to me.
The downside of the product, and items you should consider before you purchase are: a little wobbly side to side because the sliding tubes do not fit tight; the arm of the tray is a bit on the short side so you cannot sit and work in a bed without being closer to the edge than normal; the casters did not fit under my couch so I cannot use it in a sitting position other than at a chair (I have a very low couch); it is sometimes difficult to find the locking position when raising or lowering the table.
All in all I definitely feel the purchase was well worth the money, even with the items I didn't like about it. I don't think I would have survived my two months stuck in my house without this item! It was definitely a life saver.
