Customer Rating: Summary: Indiana Grandpa Comment: This was the best toy for the money. All the parts plus some extra, 6 inflatable small basketballs, super electronics, I will buy another for my own basement. The grandkids had a great time with this at Christmas as well as their Uncle and Dad. If you are looking for a close to arcade type game then buy this one. No mechanical counters, infared sensors are easy to install and durable. I really love the idea of no batteries.
Customer Rating: Summary: dont drink and dunk Comment: Well against my better judgement, knowing that this poor product would end up living a short life, I bought this for a "college aged" apt. Little did I realize how short a life that would be. (Oh ya, sidenote: the UPS guy was so excited at the level of awesomeness, that he wanted to help me put it together). For the first three days it was the greatest investment of my life, with my roomate setting a high score of 146 pts in 55 seconds. This should warrant him some sort of financial reimbursment or at the very least a place in Harvard's hall of fame. Shortly after however, simply from repeated shooting (no other shenanigans had commenced yet), one of the rims simply broke off. Just straight up, out of nowhere, broke. So as soon as this sadness set in, and before I could get out the gorilla glue, a 'friend' decided that a drunken slam dunk was the only way to fix it. While I'm sure highly entertaining at the time, I have come to find out that the Double Shootout is in fact not drunken dunk-proof. It now sits miserable and disheveled in the corner of my apt, dreaming of its former glory as the greatest thing I have ever purchased in my entire life. Harvard Schmarvard, make me a heavy duty version; I lead a rough and tough life. Your flimsy basketball hoop stood no chance against a small group of 21 years old.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good Game Comment: Game came in on time, make sure you have a socket set to put together, scoreboard works most of the time, have to adjust sensors to get both working in most cases though
Customer Rating: Summary: Damaged but still fun. Comment: The game came in a chewed up box, the corners of the backboard were smashed, a major loop for the canvas was ripped but all were pretty easily repaired. We used it for a corporate party, and for $100 we got exactly what we payed for, a little damaged but a hell of a lot of fun. I would probably buy again if using it for the same purpose.
Customer Rating: Summary: Ok for the price Comment: This product was a great price, but I've ordered 4 now, and the electronics consistently do not work.
