I keep this cushion on my computer chair. The backrest aligns my spine and cradles my back to keep me sitting upright. I've read the reviews complaining about the elastic strap. I would have paid more to get a strap that clicks together and can be snugged tight. Comment: This does help me to keep my posture when sitting. It has an elastic band to wrap around the chair back. Its loose on my work chair so I have to adjust it often. If the band was adjustable it would be better but I am happy with it.
