Summary: I received a lemon and bad customer service.
Comment: Please-please-please never order this type of product through Amazon. Go directly to your phone providers store and order it from them. You may have better luck in returning it and not going through the hassle that both Amazon and Ant Online have put me through. I have ordered through Amazon for many years. I previously had a Blue Ant headset (Micro 3X) and I didn't have any issues with it until recently. I could hear everyone beautifully but then it stopped charging on me and died. I chose the V12 Headset as it has more options and it is a cousin to the Micro 3X. I thought I couldn't possibly have any issues with it. I was so wrong as I have had nothing but problems since day one of receiving this piece of crap! My callers are mostly static and I can't get voice dial to hear my voice properly so it doesn`t recognize my voice. This is definitely not a dependable headset and it is compatible with my phone. I have been given the run around by Amazon and Ant Online in trying to return it and/or get my money back but they won't help me and keep directing me elsewhere. I got it from them so I think they should be responsible for helping me from receiving a lemon. So now I eat the fee and have to go somewhere else for a more dependable head set. I am disappointed with Amazon on this sale. I thought they were here to help me but just threw me back to this company and just washed there hands from it. I will only use Amazon once in awhile for the smaller purchases that are not electronic and I will be careful what I order as I now know I will never ever be able to return it. Please be wise in your purchases through this site. Thank you.

Summary: Good basic unit
Comment: The sound quality for the headset did not have the same rich sound as other headsets in the same price range. The loudness was good but it was tinny/very light. The last 5 number display and redial feature is very handy being built into the headset.

Summary: OK but not great
Comment: This headset is heavy compared with others. It has a nice vibrate but the sound is not good. Many complaints from people I speak with on this that they cannot hear me and I have to switch to the phone. Not recommended.

Summary: READ THIS BEFORE BUYING
Comment: Pros:
- The caller-ID does come in handy
- Good Bluetooth connection
- Handy functions on the earpiece (call history, vibrate, etc.)
- The battery life is good

Cons:
- The earpiece is uncomfortable, as others wrote. I figured I'd see for myself since I was interested in other features on the V12. The part that goes in your ear is just too big. It seems bigger than an "earbud" from the iPod headphones. It sort of slides in sideways, but can't fit completely. It's also really hard, without any cover, so it hurts over time. If you've ever used a walkman headphone without the soft cover and felt that pain, that's what this is like. I'll try to get a cover and see if that helps.

- The part that wraps around your ear is tight and can hurt after awhile. It's true, per the other reviewer - the one option they give you is so small, it can't fit around a kid's ear I'm sure. The other one, barely fits around my ear, and I have average size ears. They REALLY need to fix the earbud and earhook. I'm surprised they don't give two sizes that will fit most people. They really got this wrong for the average size man and woman.

- The sound quality on my end is "tinny" (like in a tin can). If you've ever called overseas, and have heard that thin, lacks-bass-sound, that's what it's like. My wife says she can hear me fine, but she (and others) sound like they're talking through a tin can. Very poor in-ear sound quality. The volume level is also not very loud on the highest setting. This could be improved.

- The volume buttons are really small and difficult to use at times. The multi-function button is OK, but two buttons for receive or reject could be better.

- Most know from doing some research, that the caller-ID only reveals the NUMBER not the name. There is only one on the market now that shows the name (from Jambra). But, it only does so if you connect it to your computer and program in the names. To me, the numbers are helpful, and worth it, but the names would be nice.

Since most people have their phone handy, the caller-ID isn't necessary. If you don't care about that, there's really nothing great about the rest of the product to make it worth buying.

IF BlueAnt comes out with a V14 (or whatever they will call it), I'd be interested in seeing if it could incorporate some of these ideas for improvement as has been stated by others (PC, Cnet review, etc.). But until then, save your money.

Summary: Battery Life is nothing
Comment: When i recieved this i was specting a nice unit (at least good construction), well this unit looks really cheap, the sound is good, great performance, i love the vibrate options means i can keep it in my pocket and dont missed a call, but the battery life is the problem i recieved the unit, charged like the manual said (show me a 100% charged) then I start to use this, i recieved 5 minutes phone call the battery goes to 90%, then i recieved another 10 minutes phone call goes to 80%, well i used with almost 8 phone calls before the unit runs out of battery( the worst i was driving when the battery runs out and this unit dont have a car charger), well the unit is ok clear conversation just a little echo but the battery life is the problem
