Comment: This was an excellent sword at a very excellent price. My dad collects swords and I bought this one for him for Christmas of '08 and he LOVED it.

Summary: Cut trees? Maybe not, but definitely Bamboo!
Comment: So I ordered this sword and when it arrived I thought the package seemed a bit small. Well, I opened it up and lo and behold, it was my new sword! It was a tad smaller then I thought it would be, but still large enough! My friends and I took it straight out of the box and went to my backyard and started cutting some bamboo we had growing there. Well, like a hot knife through cheese (not butter). It definitely cut through the bamboo easily enough. It arrived sharp, looks great, and still has no nicks on it. I am very pleased with this purchase for this price!

Comment: Its not sharp like it says it is, but that can be changed with a simple blade sharpener. Overall I love this sword it is as good as i imagined it to be. I could truely careless about the sharpness, This things corded handle is a bit tough to hold for long periods of time and when worn on the back it is tough to pull out of its sheath because the sheath is very flexible still 5 stars for the sword

Comment: Okay, so the picture of the sword is a bit misleading. Also the sheath is very fragile. If you want to play around with this sword, gets some duct tape and wrap the bottom of the sheath... trust me, it will last a bit longer this way. The cord wrapped around the handle is strong enough that you can use it to swing above your head, though this is unadvised.
The sword is one solid black piece of stainless steel and seems very durable. It isn't very sharp, yet sharp enough that you want to watch where you swing it. Fast delivery, had it delivered in 3 days when amazon said it would arrive 6-10 days after purchase. Definitely a good purchase.
