Customer Rating: Summary: Not what I expected Comment: The fender broke off before my son even rode it the first time. The fender is plastic and the decals are all stickers that are not heavy duty. This was a Christmas present and disappointing to say the least. I guess I will not purchase something like this again off the internet-it would cost quite a bit in shipping to return.
Customer Rating: Summary: damaged on arrival Comment: Although the box appeared undamaged, the bike arrived dented on the main frame. There was also a screw missing so we ended up just skipping putting on the plastic decorative pieces on the handlebars. There were no tools included to put the bike together, so make sure you have access to your own. The brake system is tricky to adjust so that the brake pads don't rub the tire on one side. Overall, the bike is a sturdy construction and my son loves it. We were just a bit disappointed in the condition it arrived in.
Customer Rating: Summary: Difficult to build but my son adores it Comment: The bike is adorable and my son loves it but it was difficult to build and time consuming. The front fender had to be removed so the front wheel could move freely. Do not know if that is a manufacturing defect or something we did wrong. My son just got it yesterday so I can not comment on durability. So far so good on the riding aspect.
Customer Rating: Summary: Big Hit Comment: We purchased this bike for our grandson and he can't ride it enough. We love it because it is stable and the training wheels were easy enough to adjust to give us and our grandson that confidence to take off. Gotta run, that yellow blur just whizzed by.
Customer Rating: Summary: I wish it would have word out Comment: I really loved the look of this bike. I knew my son would love it. Problem is, when we tried to assemble it, the nut on the front wheel was completely jammed and we were unable to mount the front wheel because of it. Also the bearings on the front wheel were damaged. I tried to salvage it for Christmas but it was too messed up. Should have known because the box was torn up when it came in. I wish I would have read all these comments before I purchased.
