Not only does it get all the hair, but it works great on cats too. All my animals love being brushed with the furminator. It works on their summer coat too but it worked SO well to get their winter coat off that everything else seems to pale in comparison. I also like that I can hold it in a number of positions unlike my curling brushes because those prick my hand sometimes.
