Summary: FINALLY a convenient way to roast a meat loaf
Comment: An almost 200 year-old recipe for Meatloaf Alucard--which has been in my family for that many years, although some of my relatives say it goes back even further, but that's hard to believe--has gone almost completely unused in recent decades. But thanks to the Granite Fire Pit 34" we have had a beefy rennaisance with our beloved gastronomic lineage. The recipe is secret but requires a combination of specialty meats and spices. The mixture is then affixed to the end of a stick and cooked slowly & carefully by hand for 6 hours over an open fire. Most fire pit provide to adequate resting and kneeling space. Not so with this fiery beauty! 6 hours over an open flame pass unbelievable fast now. And cleaning up the blood, juices, etc. was never easier. LOVE IT.

Summary: Frugal family fun
Comment: Yes there is an initial cost for this tool for frugal family fun, but it's an investment! Totally easy and quick to assemble, sturdy (the kids can't knock it over), pretty, and the size is perfect. We live in the high desert of Colorado, where the nights are chilly, and hanging out around the firepit, talking, drinking a glass of wine or cup of coffee, enjoying the stars, and each others company is an excellent way to appreciate one another and how swell it is to be alive! The grated cover allows marshmallow roasting with few worries of kids getting too close.
You may want to burn one fire before gathering the entire family, as the paint needs to burn off just a tad.
Well worth it, though we did wait until we could get free shipping, as it's pretty dang heavy!

Summary: granite fire-pit
Comment: I am extremely satisfied with this product. It was easy to assemble and looks great. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but I am looking forward to it, especially on cool evenings.
