Customer Rating: Summary: RAZR2 V9 Comment: Excellent phone, only issue, battery doesn't seem to have talk time that Motorola says it does.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very Nice Phone. Comment: I've had this phone about 3 weeks now and am very happy with it. The sound and signal quality are both excellent, no dropped calls or unintelligible voices. Battery life is very good, usually only have to charge it up once a week with moderate use. In short, for $18(AT&T contract extension)this is a very good deal.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good deal!! Comment: Replacement for older Razr that fell in water and finally
after six months stopped working. It has taken a while to get used
to using because of new features and updating. Good phone. Is a
little bigger and weighs a little more. Still like it.
Customer Rating: Summary: big flimsy fingerprint magnet Comment: good: big screen
bad: flimsy (feels like slides both vertical and horizontal :), fingerprint magnet as non other phones, toons of ATT bloatware.
Customer Rating: Summary: Nice phone, lousy ATT service, Amazon bad advice Comment: I purchased this phone after discussing with ATT (my current service provider) about how to best roll my old cell number over to this new phone. Additionally, I followed the instructions posted above from the link provided by Amazon on how to keep my old number. This information provided by Amazon is incorrect. You would think that rolling my old number from my three year old ATT service (contract obligations long since completed) over to the new Razr V9 with service by ATT would be easy.
Not!! In fact I can't do it. ATT customer service, both the business account center and the regular service account folks, has been polite but unhelpful. They told me my only option is to pay a $175 cancellation fee on the new V9 from Amazon, return it to Amazon, and start up a new service under my old account which was left active, per the instructions provided by Amazon and ATT. And of course, they'll sell me the V9 for $169.
If you want to keep your old number, don't use ATT. Customer support at ATT has been sorely lacking.
